Hot Air Ballooning - I have been a pilot of hot air balloons since 1993.  I own a balloon registered in the UK.  There are some pictures of my balloon (G-PATP) on the home page. In 2008 I came 5th in the British National Hot Air Balloon Championships.  This was my best placed position in a competition. Some pictures of balloons I have flown over the years are on the Balloon Photo Album page.  Apart from England, I have flown in Albania, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Scotland, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, USA and Wales.

Motorcycling - I currently ride a Honda Pan European ST1300.  I use it regularly for commuting to work and for the occasional shopping trip.

Skiing - My wife and I love skiing.  Lately we have been going to Austria as it is very child friendly.  Our two young children are really developing their skiing skills quickly.
